Under the guidance of Ms.Susan Pinto [FTCL] [LRSM],
she recently completed her ATCL performance diploma [classical solo piano]
and is currently preparing for the LTCL recital diploma , classical solo piano .
Joanne is a Lobby/Bar Pianist by profession , completing a year at J.W.Marriott Hotel, Mumbai,
another year at Rennaissance Hotel Powai & 4 months at Novotel Hotel, Hyderabad.
She was also a member of the only Indian all girl band 'The Real Thing'
managed by Joe Alvares and travelled & performed various gigs/concerts all over India.
Joanne has also performed with Indian based bands such as 'Second Skin' [Goa],
'The Bassman's Band' [Mumbai] & 'The Brown Indian Band' [Mumbai].
Being a versatile musician, Joanne fits into different styles of music adding her own special touch to each genre.
Her greatest influences include classical composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, Schubert, Bach, Rachmaninov
as well as 60's psychedelic rock artist such as Pink Floyd, The Beatles, The Who, Grateful Dead,
Rolling Stones, Jefferson Airplane, Janis Joplin, Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin etc.
Joanne thoroughly enjoys playing her own solo piano renditions
of the above mentioned artists in her repetiore [over 500 songs ]
consisting of classical, rock, jazz, blues, pop and evergreen classics.
